Tyneside Safety Glass have performed extensive testing both internally in our own facilities and verified externally in conjunction with industry partners to be able to offer speciality glazing products for both windscreens and bodyside glass for passenger carriages for the rail industry.

Windscreens can be supplied in both flat and curved forms.


Bodyside glass can be supplied in both single or double glazed constructions and our technical department can offer solutions to sound, solar and thermal requirements.

Current UK and European industry standards we comply to but not limited to are:

- GM/RT2100 Containment standard

Framed solutions for both windscreens and bodyside glass are also available upon request.
